• BLS is a level of care that patients receive in an emergency. • Designed for physcians, nurses, physical therapists, dental staff, professional rescuers (EMTs, paramedics, lifeguards). • A higher level of CPR, including AED training, a written test and a skills test • Certification cards issued the same day as the CPR class.
